  • Share: Start a screen share.

  • Participants: 

    • Tap your name if you want to rename yourself.

  • More: View non-verbal feedback icons. Tapping an icon will notify the host by placing the icon beside your name in the participants list. For example, Raise Hand places the raise hand icon beside your name and simulates a hand raise.


Change your name.


  • 2 Minute "Turn and Talk"

    • In the breakout room, think of one question you have about Zoom or distance learning.

    • When we come back, put your question in the Chat.



  • Gallery View (Brady Bunch style) or Speaker View

    • on computer,upper right corner

    • on phone, swipe left and right 

    • on iPad, upper left (tap screen if control is not visible)

  • While screen sharing

    • to go to side-by-side mode, click on the dropdown menu "View Options"

    • Slide the separator to the left or right to adjust the size of each view.


  • Set up on iPhone/iPad

    • Open iOS Settings.

    • Tap Control Center.

    • Tap Customize Controls.

    • Tap the + next to Screen Recording.

  • In Meeting Controls, tap or click on the green Share icon.

  • Select what you want to share.

    • On computer, you can choose destop, an individual application that is already open on your computer, a whiteboard, or an iPhone/iPad.

    • On iOS, you can choose screen, photos, website URL, and other sources. Once you select what you want, tap Zoom and Start Broadcast.

    • Check Share Computer Sound: If you check this option, any sound played by your computer will be shared in the meeting.

    • Check Optimize for full screen video clip: Check this if you will be sharing a video clip in full screen mode.


  •  not available on iPhone 

  • Choose Whiteboard on Screen Sharing.

  • The annotation tools will appear automatically, but you can press the Whiteboard option in the meeting controls (computer) or tap the pen tool (iPad) to show and hide them.

  • Drawing, Text, Shapes

Add bookmarks (computer) and shortcuts (iOS) to frequently used sites.

I can set up class pages and add anything you want: audio, video, worksheets, links - you are only limited by your imagination! This can be shared during Zoom or for at-home enrichment.
